This lead-free SV-6 self-piercing valve for 3/8″ to 5/8″ pipes can draw a water supply from Copper or CPVC piping. It will connect to pipe sizes up to 3/4″ and as small as 5/8″.

These valves are a code violation in some areas, and over time, they can develop leaks when you use them to shut the water off. We always recommend using a John Guest shut-off valve (linked below) with the self-piercing valve. This way, the self-piercing valve does not have to be used to shut the water off.
